Academy28 has teamed up with Training Journal to carry out a major survey into the behavioural preferences of trainers and how these impact on the training they deliver.
The research will examine behavioural preferences and the results will have an important bearing not only on how trainers should design and deliver training solutions but also on how the learning is ultimately transferred by each learner back into the workplace.

WORKSHOPS SHOW HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR TRAINING BY UNDERSTANDING THE PERSONALITIES OF TRAINEES
Called Advanced Train the Trainer, each workshop will explain how trainers can design appropriate training programmes and adapt their ‘personal style’ to suit the learning preferences of their trainees. It will also show how they can avoid trouble and conflict in the training room and ensure that the learning is actually applied back in the workplace.

Academy28 has launched a live web-based training (webinar) support service to help organisations create and run their own virtual training programmes.

NEW ONLINE 'ACTION PLAN' TOOL HELPS TRAINEES TO TRANSFER THEIR LEARNING
Academy28 has launched an online tool that helps individuals to create and implement an action plan, so they can transfer their learning back to the workplace after an internal or external training programme or e-learning course.
Called Your Action Plan, the tool enables trainees to set goals and to specify the actions and
timescales required to achieve these goals. It keeps them on track using e-mail reminders, which prompt them to report on their progress, and it provides their line manager with real-time summary reports on their goals and actions.

TIM DREWITT JOINS ACADEMY28
Academy28, the behavioural preferences assessment provider, has appointed Tim Drewitt as Director of Business and Product Development.
Formerly Programme Director (E-learning) at Management Centre Europe, in Brussels, Tim has 15 years’ experience in international management development and technology-based learning. His previous roles include Director of interactive learning company Balance Learning; Head of Professional Learning Services at Xebec McGraw-Hill and Flexible Learning Integration Manager at Lloyds TSB.
