We’ve many years of experience in the corporate learning arena and in the use of learning technologies. And we’re passionate about both.

Dr Clare Howard and Tim Drewitt have known each other for 15 years, and are delighted to be working together as Academy28.

Clare has 20 years’ experience of serving as a coach and consultant working with worldwide clients on personal development, leadership, organisational change, business performance and online learning and development assignments, including major and innovative strategic change management and leadership programmes for Lloyds TSB.

Her areas of expertise include: learning, career development, teams, organisational development, multi-cultural working, women’s leadership, and virtual teams. Clare’s expertise in type preferences and archetypes has also been channelled into her role as Chair of London Type, the special interest group for all things type, organising occasional meetings and seminars and visits from other leading type specialists. She has spent the last 5 years overseeing the renovation of Le Colombier in Provence.

Tim started his career in learning technologies back in 1994, at the then Lloyds Bank. Since then he has held senior positions on both the corporate end-user and vendor sides of the business. Tim still can’t believe the journey he’s had. He credits his successes with having lived through – and survived – the very early and sometimes challenging early days of e-learning.

As a very early adopter of learning technologies, he offers clients a wealth of hard-earned experience. As well as his enthusiasm for the application of learning technologies to solve business problems, Tim enjoys his music, theatre-going and international travel. He also writes impartially about learning technology solutions on his tech4learning blog at www.timdrewitt.typepad.com.

Clare and Tim are supported by a talented team of writers and programmers, so behind the scenes, Sam, Dom, and Ash work hard to enable you to reap the benefits of our services.
